Gregory’s philosophy of healing includes looking at all aspects of the individual, physical, emotional and spiritual. Acupuncture is a perfect vehicle for this. Acupuncture is an ancient Chinese medicine-based approach to treating a variety of conditions by triggering specific points on the skin with needles. It is a minimally invasive method to stimulate nerve-rich areas of the skin surface to influence tissues, glands, and various functions of the body.
The Chinese believed that each organ and gland is associated with a specific emotion i.e., the liver is associated with anger, the kidneys are associated with fear. Thus, in treating specific organ Acupuncture points, the practitioner may also be treating specific emotional imbalances, and vice versa.
Spiritual imbalances may also be treated with Acupuncture as each organ and gland has a specific spiritual archetype (personality). Acupuncture thus treats physical, emotional and spiritual imbalances as it recognizes the integration of mind, body, and spirit harmony as the secret to longevity and good health.
