HOW TO PREPARE
This is important both internally and externally before/after a Biofield Tuning session.
1. Drink plenty of pure water and herbal teas before/after session due to sound-conductive properties of water. Preferably no caffeine drinks before because they are dehydrating.
2. After session, soak in a sea salt and/or Epsom salt bath for 20 minutes to support the body in detoxifying or releasing any chemical components of blockages released from the energy field. You can take your bath anytime after the appointment, as late as before bedtime.
3. No Acupuncture or Homeopathy. Massage is OK.
After a Biofield Tuning sound session, people frequently report feeling:
-Anywhere from feeling tired to profound exhaustion.
-Needing to sleep or lay low for a day or more (especially if you have been “running on empty”).
-Becoming aware of formerly masked or buried emotions.
-Emotionalism (possible crying and/or anger).

Holding an activated tuning fork in the area of a traumatic memory or another difficult time period produces repeatable, predictable outcomes. The sound input seems to help the body digest and integrate unprocessed experiences. As the biofield dissonance subsides, clients generally report feeling "lighter" and a resolved or diminished experience of their symptoms.
Practitioners work with the Biofield Anatomy Map, a compilation of Biofield Tuning's founder, Eileen Day McKusick’s 23+ years of biofield observations. Areas of dissonance can be pinpointed to a specific age and type of memory. For example, one might find a strong sense of sadness at age 12 or birth trauma at the outer edge of the biofield.
One might interpret this as a kind of targeted nervous system biofeedback. Eileen has come to see this process as consciousness hacking, a side-door entry into the psyche - working with what has been hidden in plain view - which assists people in making changes they otherwise could not on their own.
